Comments

I found some perfectly fine comments in spam and removed them from spam. Our spam guard went extra-vigilant this morning but I think it was also confused by some of the language. Please folks, I know we discuss topics of sex at this blog, but for reasons of civility as well as not confusing the spam filters, avoid using language about genitalia, etc.

I’m having trouble with a comment that isn’t going through. It doesn’t have any language about sex at all in it.

I think there was something wrong with the comments before that has been fixed. I commented twice on a post without meaning to. Can someone delete the second comment that repeats the first one?

    Diana,

Sometimes filters, if they take down one comment as spam, then think all comments from that email address are spam. That may be what’s happening.

There is nothing wrong with using correct language for body parts.

  5. Diane M says:

Could be, but I don’t think I said anything that would have been filtered, including medical language for body parts.

  6. Matthew Kaal says:

Well, I think the problem was actually much bigger than an oversensitive filter, but we are working on it. Apologies to all.

Kisarita, There is nothing wrong with it, but spam filters hate it, so help me out.

Just a heads up, I’ll be off dealing with family things for a while.
